The Parkland Matadors basketball squad scored 66 points and held the host Hanks Knights to 45 in the Matadors league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Parkland advances its record to 7-18 on the year. The Matadors host Del Valle (El Paso, TX) to face the Conquistadores in a 5A Region I District 2 match on Friday, January 24. The Conquistadores enter the match with a record of 17-10. Del Valle won 72-37 in their recent league match against Horizon (El Paso, TX)

The Knights now own a 7-20 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Del Valle for a 5A Region I District 2 match on Tuesday, January 28. Hanks will face a Conquistadores squad coming off a 78-65 league win over Parkland (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 18-10.
