The Kennedy Thunderbirds basketball squad (Delano, CA), was nudged 45-40 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA)

With the victory, Taft advances its record to 11-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Shafter (Shafter, CA) to meet the Generals in a South Sequoia battle on Friday, January 24. The Generals enter the battle with a record of 6-8. Shafter lost 56-52 in their recent league battle against Chavez (Delano, CA)

The Thunderbirds now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delano for a South Sequoia battle on Thursday, January 23. Kennedy will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 56-37 league loss to Taft (Taft, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-11.
