January 21, 2025: Arlington, TX 76001 Mansfield Summit Jaguars (Arlington, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Seguin Cougars (Arlington, TX), 70-25 in a league match.
With the victory, Mansfield Summit upgrades its record to 24-5 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Centennial (Burleson, TX) to face the Spartans in a 5A Region I District 8 match on Friday, January 24. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 13-16. Centennial lost 57-38 in their recent league match against Cleburne (Cleburne, TX)
The Cougars now sport a 6-18 record. They put it on the line next when they host Everman for a 5A Region I District 8 match on Friday, January 24. Seguin will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-18 league win over Burleson (Burleson, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-11.
