In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting New Braunfels Unicorns basketball team scored a good 55-36 triumph over the Veterans Memorial Patriots.

The Unicorns (16-16) will now prepare for their contest against Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX). The Rangers go into the 5A Region IV District 26 contest with a 9-20 record. In their last contest, Smithson Valley was toppled by Pieper (San Antonio, TX), 65-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Patriots confront the Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest, on Friday, January 24.
