The Sonora Wildcats basketball squad (Sonora, CA), was nudged 35-30 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Ripon Indians (Ripon, CA)

With the victory, Ripon advances its record to 11-9 on the year. The Indians travel to Escalon (Escalon, CA) to meet the Cougars in a Trans Valley League battle on Thursday, January 23. The Cougars enter the battle with a record of 10-9. Escalon won 45-12 in their recent league battle against Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA)

The Wildcats now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ripon Christian for a Trans Valley League battle on Friday, January 24. Sonora will meet a Knights squad coming off a 50-33 league loss to Orestimba (Newman, CA). The Knights record now stands at 5-9.
