The Merced Bears basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Buhach Colony Thunder to 43 in the Bears league triumph on Wednesday.

The Bears now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they host Atwater for a Central California Conference game on Friday, January 24. Merced will play a Falcons team coming off a 58-49 league loss to El Capitan (Merced, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 18-3.

With the loss, Buhach Colony falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Thunder host Los Banos (Los Banos, CA) to play the Tigers in a Central California Conference game on Friday, January 24. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 13-5. Los Banos lost 67-61 in their recent league game against Golden Valley (Merced, CA)
