In Wednesday's league test, the Port Charlotte Pirates (Port Charlotte, FL) basketball squad knocked off the host Fort Myers Green Wave (Fort Myers, FL), by a score of 58-45.

Next, the Pirates encounter the Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, January 28. Port Charlotte will attempt to improve on its 18-5 season record. The Tornadoes come into the test with a 11-11 record after their 63-52 non-league win over Venice (Venice, FL).
