South Charleston Black Eagles (South Charleston, WV) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Hurricane Redskins (Hurricane, WV), 51-47 in a league match.

With the victory, South Charleston advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Black Eagles host Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV) to meet the Big Reds in a Mountain State match on Friday, January 24. The Big Reds enter the match with a record of 4-6. Parkersburg won 70-55 in their recent league match against Riverside (Belle, WV)

The Redskins now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside for a Mountain State match on Friday, January 24. Hurricane will meet a Warriors squad coming off a 70-55 league loss to Parkersburg (Parkersburg, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 2-8.
