The Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME) basketball were winner over the host Hermon Hawks (Hermon, ME), 50-41 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Trojans now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Presque Isle for a B North bout on Friday, January 24. Mount Desert Island will play a Wildcats team coming off a 43-34 league win over Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Hermon falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Hawks host Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to play the Ponies in a B North bout on Saturday, January 25.
