The Monroe Central Golden Bears basketball squad (Parker City, IN), was crushed 48-20 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Wapahani Raiders (Selma, IN)

With the victory, Wapahani advances its record to 17-3 on the year. The Raiders host Lapel (Lapel, IN) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 13-8.

The Golden Bears now own a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cowan for a Mid-Eastern battle on Thursday, January 23. Monroe Central will meet a Blackhawks squad coming off a 56-14 league loss to Shenandoah (Middletown, IN). The Blackhawks record now stands at 3-14.
