Virginia High School Basketball - Appomattox County knocks off Cumberland
January 22, 2025: Cumberland, VA 23040 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) and the host Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA), observed Appomattox County's basketball team overcome Cumberland by a score of 49-38.
The Raiders (5-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Dan River (Ringgold, VA). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 4-5 record. In their last challenge, Dan River dropped by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 42-35, in a non-league challenge.
