Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Bowie Bears (El Paso, TX) and the visiting Austin Panthers (El Paso, TX), saw Bowie's basketball squad wallop Austin by a count of 75-37.

With the victory, Bowie upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Irvin (El Paso, TX) to play the Rockets in a 4A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 8-15. Irvin won 46-39 in their recent league challenge against Harmony Science Academy (El Paso, TX)

Next up, the Panthers play the Patterson Institute Lions (El Paso, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Austin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-17 season record.
