January 23, 2024: Bradenton, FL 34210 The IMG Academy Ascenders (Bradenton, FL) basketball crushed the visiting Palmetto Tigers (Palmetto, FL), 95-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Ascenders (8-6) will now prepare for their test against Bradenton Christian (Bradenton, FL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 16-6 record. In their last test, Bradenton Christian was trounced by Wiregrass Ranch (Wesley Chapel, FL), 80-77, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Tampa Bay Tech for a 6A District 10 test on Wednesday, January 24. Palmetto will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 69-59 league win over Armwood (Seffner, FL). The Titans record now stands at 11-8.
