Arizona High School Basketball - Globe holds off Apache Junction

In Thursday's league contest, the host Globe Tigers basketball team scored a close 49-43 triumph over the Apache Junction Prospectors.

The Tigers (14-10) will now prepare for their contest against Florence (Florence, AZ). The Gophers go into the 3A Central contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Florence was tipped by Valley Christian (Chandler, AZ), 90-65, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Prospectors confront the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) in a 3A Central contest, on Monday, January 27. Apache Junction will attempt to better on its 7-16 season record. The Sentinels go into the contest with a 12-11 record after their 47-43 league loss to Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).
