January 23, 2025: Whitehall, OH 43213 Buckeye Valley Barons (Delaware, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Whitehall-Yearling Rams (Whitehall, OH), 68-60 in a league match.
With the victory, Buckeye Valley upgrades its record to 9-5 on the year. The Barons host Bishop Ready (Columbus, OH) to face the Silver Knights in a Central Buckeye League match on Saturday, January 25. The Silver Knights enter the match with a record of 15-1. Bishop Ready won 74-49 in their recent league match against Worthington Christian (Worthington, OH)
The Rams now sport a 3-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastmoor Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, January 25. Whitehall-Yearling will face a Warriors squad coming off a 66-52 league loss to Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 4-9.
