The Copper Canyon Aztecs basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Glendale Cardinals to 45 in the Aztecs league triumph on Thursday.

The Aztecs now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Independence for a 5A Central Valley game on Monday, January 27. Copper Canyon will play a Patriots team coming off a 63-61 league win over Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ). The Patriots record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Glendale falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Washington (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Rams in a 5A Central Valley game on Monday, January 27. The Rams go into the game with a record of 6-6.
