The New Covenant School Cavaliers (Anderson, SC) basketball toppled the visiting Laurens Academy Crusaders (Laurens, SC), 48-36 in Thursday's non-league contest.

The Cavaliers (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Greenville Classical Academy (Simpsonville, SC). The Lions go into the South Carolina Christian AA - Piedmont A contest with a 1-8 record. In their last contest, Greenville Classical Academy was toppled by Lake Pointe Academy (York, SC), 59-50, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Crusaders confront the Oakbrook Prep Knights (Spartanburg, SC) in a SCISA 2A Region IV contest, on Tuesday, January 28.
