The Tremont Eagles (Tremont, MS) basketball crushed the visiting Hickory Flat Rebels (Hickory Flat, MS), 70-38 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 12-10 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Mountain for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. Tremont will play a Cougars team coming off a 64-25 league win over Coffeeville (Coffeeville, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 4-15.

With the loss, Hickory Flat falls to 9-14 on the campaign. The Rebels host Potts Camp (Potts Camp, MS) to play the Cardinals in a 1A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 24.
