Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks (Tucson, AZ), 45-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Mica Mountain advances its record to 16-6 on the year. The Thunderbolts travel to Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ) to face the Lancers in a 4A Kino match on Thursday, January 30. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 16-4.

The Nighthawks now own a 9-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walden Grove for a 4A Kino match on Wednesday, January 29.
