In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Italy Gladiators basketball team scored a good 38-28 triumph over the Rio Vista Eagles.

In their next game, the Gladiators meet the Frost Polar Bears (Frost, TX) in a 2A Region II District 12 match, on Friday, January 27. Italy will attempt to better on its 10-18 season record. The Polar Bears enter the match with a 20-9 record after their 34-26 league loss to Valley Mills (Valley Mills, TX).
