The Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) basketball crushed the visiting San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX), 68-42 in Friday's league bout.

The Buffaloes now possess a 18-11 record. They play next when they travel to Canyon for a 6A Region IV District 29 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Clemens will play a Cougars team coming off a 72-65 league loss to Johnson (Buda, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 12-18.

With the loss, San Marcos falls to 16-15 on the campaign. The Rattlers host East Central (San Antonio, TX) to play the Hornets in a 6A Region IV District 29 outing on Tuesday, January 28.
