In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Gilbert Tigers basketball team scored a good 57-47 win over the Red Mountain Mountain Lions.

The Tigers (7-10) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Gilbert, AZ). The Hawks come into the 6A Fiesta contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Highland defeated Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ), 79-30, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Mountain Lions battle the Mesa Jackrabbits (Mesa, AZ) in a 6A East Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Red Mountain will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record.
