The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Horizon Hawks (Thornton, CO) and the host Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), observed Horizon's basketball team overwhelm Legacy by a score of 71-50.

The Hawks (13-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Mead (Longmont, CO). The Mavericks come into the 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, Mead trounced Niwot (Niwot, CO), 68-53, in a league challenge.
