Michigan High School Basketball - Leslie can't get by Manchester
January 24, 2025: Manchester, MI 48158 Manchester Flying Dutchmen (Manchester, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Leslie Blackhawks (Leslie, MI), 58-55 in a league match.
With the victory, Manchester advances its record to 4-9 on the year. The Flying Dutchmen host Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Cascades match on Monday, January 27. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-3. Columbia Central won 69-28 in their recent league match against Addison (Addison, MI)
The Blackhawks now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hanover-Horton for a Cascades match on Tuesday, January 28. Leslie will meet a Comets squad coming off a 72-33 league win over Homer (Homer, MI). The Comets record now stands at 9-5.
