The Buhler Crusaders (Buhler, KS) basketball edged the visiting South Cougars (Salina, KS), 54-50 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Crusaders now possess a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Andover for a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. Buhler will play a Trojans team coming off a 81-16 non-league win over Junction City (Junction City, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 9-1.

With the loss, South falls to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Haysville Campus (Wichita, KS) to play the Colts in a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail I bout on Monday, January 27. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Haysville Campus lost 70-32 in their recent league bout against Maize South (Wichita, KS)
