Missouri High School Basketball - Northeast bested by Centralia
January 24, 2025: Centralia, MO 65240 Centralia Panthers (Centralia, MO) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Northeast Bearcats (Cairo, MO), 58-41 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Centralia advances its record to 14-1 on the year. The Panthers host Fulton (Fulton, MO) to face the Hornets in a non-league match on Monday, January 27. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 4-11.
The Bearcats now own a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Shelby for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. Northeast will face a Cardinals squad coming off a 48-11 non-league win over North Shelby (Shelbyville, MO). The Cardinals record now stands at 17-1.
