In Friday's non-league contest, the host Parkdale Panthers basketball team scored a big 80-20 triumph over the Crossland Cavaliers.

The Panthers (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Flowers (Springdale, MD). The Jaguars go into the Prince George's County 4A contest with a 9-2 record. In their last contest, Flowers smashed Rosedale Christian Academy (Baltimore, MD), 58-42, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North Tigers (Laurel, MD) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Crossland will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 3-4 record after their 37-11 league win over Surrattsville (Clinton, MD).
