Maryland High School Basketball - St. Charles triumphant over Lackey
January 24, 2025: Waldorf, MD 20602 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) and the visiting Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD), observed St. Charles's basketball team overwhelm Lackey by a score of 57-11.
The (12-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD). The Raiders come into the Southern Maryland challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Leonardtown trounced Patuxent (Lusby, MD), 72-15, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Chargers battle the Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD) in a Southern Maryland challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Lackey will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 70-17 league loss to North Point (Waldorf, MD).
