The Sparks Railroaders basketball squad (Sparks, NV), was crushed 58-28 in Friday's league battle with the host North Valleys Panthers (Reno, NV)

With the victory, North Valleys advances its record to 16-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Fernley (Fernley, NV) to meet the Vaqueros in a non-league battle on Monday, January 27. The Vaqueros enter the battle with a record of 15-4.

The Railroaders now own a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hug for a 3A Northern - West battle on Monday, January 27. Sparks will meet a Hawks squad coming off a 42-23 league loss to South Tahoe (South Lake Tahoe, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 8-9.
