In Friday's league contest, the visiting Vista del Lago Eagles basketball team scored a big 61-23 triumph over the Rio Americano Raiders.

The Eagles (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons go into the Capital Valley Conference contest with a 16-6 record. In their last contest, Christian Brothers was trounced by St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco, CA), 55-52, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Raiders battle the Woodcreek Timberwolves (Roseville, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference battle, on Tuesday, January 28.
