The May River Sharks basketball team scored 34 points and restricted the visiting Lucy Beckham Bengals to 32 in the Sharks league victory on Thursday.

The Sharks now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to James Island for a contest on Monday, January 29. May River will battle a Trojans team coming off a 43-24 non-league win over Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Trojans record now stands at 13-2.
