January 25, 2025: Varna, IL 61375 The Midland Timberwolves basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Henry-Senachwine Mallards to 46 in the Timberwolves non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Timberwolves now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they travel to Seneca for a non-league game on Monday, January 27. Midland will confront a Fighting Irish team coming off a 67-34 league win over Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 18-4.
With the loss, Henry-Senachwine falls to 4-18 on the campaign. The Mallards travel to Putnam County (Granville, IL) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Thursday, January 30. The Panthers go into the game with a record of 0-21. Putnam County lost 75-59 in their recent league game against St. Bede (Peru, IL)
