Maine High School Basketball - Sanford triumphant over Greely
January 25, 2025: Sanford, ME 04073 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Sanford Spartans (Sanford, ME) and the visiting Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME), observed Sanford's basketball team overwhelm Greely by a margin of 54-30.
The Spartans (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Noble (North Berwick, ME). The Knights come into the AA South challenge with a 1-13 record. In their last challenge, Noble was trounced by Biddeford (Biddeford, ME), 64-20, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Rangers battle the Brunswick Dragons (Brunswick, ME) in a A South challenge, on Thursday, January 30. Greely will attempt to better on its 6-9 season record.
