The Perry Panthers basketball squad (Perry, GA), was nudged 54-51 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA)

With the victory, Macon County advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Taylor County (Butler, GA) to meet the Vikings in a A D2 Region 6 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Vikings enter the battle with a record of 14-1. Taylor County won 69-38 in their recent league battle against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA)

The Panthers now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warner Robins for a AAAA Region 1 battle on Tuesday, January 28. Perry will meet a Demons squad coming off a 55-19 non-league win over Northside (Warner Robins, GA). The Demons record now stands at 20-0.
