Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) and the visiting Colfax Falcons (Colfax, CA), saw Tamalpais's soccer squad hold off Colfax by a count of 2-1.

The Red Tailed Hawks (9-3) will now prepare for their battle against San Rafael (San Rafael, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Marin County battle with a 10-5 record. In their last battle, San Rafael was edged by Branson (Ross, CA), 7-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Falcons confront the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a battle, on Tuesday, January 28. Colfax will attempt to upgrade on its 13-2 season record. The Indians enter the battle with a 6-14 record after their 6-0 league loss to Oakmont (Roseville, CA).
