In Friday's league outing, the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), by a margin of 88-53.

The Vikings (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Harding University (Charlotte, NC). The Rams go into the 3A/4A Queen City outing with a 5-11 record. In their last outing, Harding University was trounced by Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 76-64, in a league outing.
