Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Central Catholic Raiders (Modesto, CA) and the visiting Downey Knights (Modesto, CA), saw Central Catholic's basketball squad overcome Downey by a tally of 63-46.

With the victory, Central Catholic improves its record to 19-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Turlock (Turlock, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 29. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 11-10. Turlock lost 68-27 in their recent non-league challenge against Patterson (Patterson, CA)

Next up, the Knights confront the Pitman Pride (Turlock, CA) in a Central California Athletic League challenge, on Wednesday, January 31. Downey will attempt to improve on its 8-16 season record.
