North Carolina High School Basketball - Hertford County succumbs to Northampton County

January 27, 2024: Gaston, NC 27832

The Northampton County Jaguars topped the visiting Hertford County Bears basketball team by a final score of 67-55 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Jaguars face the KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke game, on Tuesday, January 30. Northampton County will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.

With the defeat, Hertford County moves to 12-5 on the year. The Bears travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to face the Panthers in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal game on Tuesday, January 30. The Panthers enter the game with a record of 4-12. Pasquotank County lost 77-54 in their recent league game against Northeastern (Elizabeth City, NC)
