Illinois High School Basketball - Yorkville Christian tops Quest Charter Academy
January 27, 2024: Peoria, IL 61604 Yorkville Christian Mustangs (Yorkville, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Quest Charter Academy Gators (Peoria, IL), 77-65 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Yorkville Christian upgrades its record to 11-14 on the campaign. The Mustangs host MCC (Morton Grove, IL) to play the Crescents in a non-league bout on Monday, January 29. The Crescents come into the bout with a record of 14-6. MCC won 60-30 in their recent league bout against College Prep of America (Lombard, IL)
Next up, the Gators play the Roanoke-Benson Rockets (Roanoke, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Quest Charter Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Woodland (Streator, IL).
