Maryland High School Basketball - Potomac bests Ballou

January 27, 2025: Oxon Hill, MD 20745

The Potomac Wolverines (Oxon Hill, MD) basketball toppled the visiting Ballou Knights (Washington, DC), 53-43 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Wolverines now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Crossland for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Tuesday, January 28. Potomac will play a Cavaliers team coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Ballou falls to 11-9 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Coolidge (Washington, DC) to play the Colts in a DCSAA AA bout on Wednesday, January 29. The Colts go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Coolidge lost 70-65 in their recent league bout against Jackson-Reed (Washington, DC)
