The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Northwest Halifax Vikings (Littleton, NC) and the host KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC), observed Northwest Halifax's basketball team edge KIPP Pride by a score of 54-47.

The Vikings (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC). The Tigers come into the 1A Tar Roanoke challenge with a 11-4 record.

In their next game, the Pride battle the Northampton County Jaguars (Gaston, NC) in a 1A Tar Roanoke challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. KIPP Pride will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record.
