January 27, 2025: Abbeville, LA 70510 Ascension Episcopal (Lafayette, LA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Vermilion Catholic Eagles (Abbeville, LA), 4-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Ascension Episcopal moves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The travel to Ouachita Christian (Monroe, LA) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 29. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 6-5. Ouachita Christian 1-1 in their recent league test against St. Frederick (Monroe, LA)
The Eagles now sport a 5-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northlake Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, February 1. Vermilion Catholic will clash with a Wolverines team coming off a 1-1 league Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA). The Wolverines record now stands at 10-5.
