In Saturday's non-league outing, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Pumas (Indianapolis, IN) basketball squad beat the host Rossville Hornets (Rossville, IN), by a count of 52-44.

The Pumas (5-7) will now prepare for their outing against Indiana Math & Science Academy North (Indianapolis, IN). The Knights go into the Greater Indianapolis outing with a 9-8 record.

The Hornets now hold a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Clinton Prairie for a Hoosier Heartland outing on Thursday, February 2. Rossville will clash with a Gophers squad coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Western (Russiaville, IN). The Gophers record now stands at 6-9.
