In Tuesday's league test, the Heritage Hawks (Newnan, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Atlanta Jewish Academy Jaguar (Atlanta, GA), by a score of 81-21.

Next, the Hawks encounter the St. Mary's Academy Bobcats (Fairburn, GA) in a GIAA AA Region 1 test, on Friday, January 31. Heritage will attempt to improve on its 16-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the test with a 5-11 record after their 69-49 league win over Holy Spirit Prep (Atlanta, GA).
