The Beaver Bobcats basketball squad scored 70 points and held the host Hopewell Vikings to 57 in the Bobcats league victory on Tuesday.

With the victory, Beaver advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Lincoln Park Performing Arts (Midland, PA) to meet the in a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 29. The enter the battle with a record of 1-10.

The Vikings now own a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quaker Valley for a WPIAL 4A 2 battle on Friday, January 31. Hopewell will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 59-56 league win over Avonworth (Pittsburgh, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 13-4.
