With the victory, Eastern advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Warriors host Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington (Ripley, OH) to face the Blue Jays in a Southern Hills match on Friday, January 31. The Blue Jays enter the match with a record of 2-15. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington lost 78-59 in their recent league match against Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH)
The Tigers now own a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheelersburg for a Southern Ohio III match on Friday, January 31. Waverly will face a Pirates squad coming off a 55-52 non-league loss to Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Pirates record now stands at 6-7.
