The Franklin Warriors basketball squad (Somerset, NJ), was outscored 62-44 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Phillipsburg Stateliners (Phillipsburg, NJ)

With the victory, Phillipsburg advances its record to 12-6 on the year. The Stateliners travel to North Hunterdon (Annandale, NJ) to meet the Lions in a non-league battle on Thursday, January 30. The Lions enter the battle with a record of 6-11. North Hunterdon lost 51-48 in their recent league battle against Somerville (Somerville, NJ)

The Warriors now own a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to The Pingry School for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 1. Franklin will meet a Big Blue squad coming off a 60-47 league loss to Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Big Blue record now stands at 5-8.
