Washington High School Basketball - Sound Christian knocks off Northwest Christian
January 28, 2025: Tacoma, WA 98409 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sound Christian Lions (Tacoma, WA) and the visiting Northwest Christian Wolverines (Lacey, WA), observed Sound Christian's basketball team overcome Northwest Christian by a score of 81-61.
The Lions (15-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Puget Sound Adventist (Kirkland, WA). The Sharks come into the 1B/2B Sea-Tac challenge with a 4-11 record. In their last challenge, Puget Sound Adventist dropped by Crosspoint Christian (Bremerton, WA), 62-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Wolverines battle the Pope John Paul II Eagles (Lacey, WA) in a 1B/2B Sea-Tac challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Northwest Christian will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 83-57 league loss to Northwest Yeshiva (Mercer Island, WA).
