The South Cobb Eagles (Austell, GA) basketball nipped the visiting Paulding County Patriots (Dallas, GA), 57-54 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Eagles clash with the McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 3 outing, on Friday, January 31. South Cobb will attempt to upgrade on its 13-9 season record. The Indians enter the outing with a 19-3 record after their 70-45 league win over Campbell (Smyrna, GA).
