Rise Academy Guardians (Richmond, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA), 70-63 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Rise Academy advances its record to 12-5 on the year. The Guardians host Harrisonburg HomeSchool (Harrisonburg, VA) to face the Lightning in a non-league match on Thursday, January 30. The Lightning enter the match with a record of 13-10. Harrisonburg HomeSchool won 94-63 in their recent non-league match against Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD)

The Wildcats now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Hope Academy National for a non-league match on Wednesday, January 29.
